It's Here and Ready to Dominate the Track

Are you ready to go racing? The Civic Type R LE is setup from the factory to hit the ground running on any track you bring it to. Lighter, tighter, and more agile than the 'standard' Type R, it's reduced weight and grippier tires are sure to make you squeal as you push it around the apex. 

The forged BBS Wheels, special to the Limited Edition, weigh 4.5 pounds less per corner reducing the rotating mass substantially and wrapped in 245/30/20R Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, with a treadwear rating of 180, will stick you to the ground. 

Out of the 1020 Limited Edition's being manufactured, only 600 will be coming to the US. Jump on this before it races out of our showroom!

Lighter is Faster

The name of the game with the Civic Type R Limited Edition is less weight. The Honda Engineers were able to reduce the curb weight of the vehicle by 50 pounds. This in turn helps the car accelerate faster and turn-in quicker than the 'standard' Type R. 

Software has also been updated on the Type R LE to utilize the reduced weight and increased grip to its maximum potential. 

Updates were also made to the brakes, swapping in new fade resistant pads and upgrading to two-piece floating rotors help shave 2.5 pounds per side. Less rotating weight with some grippier brakes, stop the Type R LE quicker without having to worry about any brake fade as you go lap after lap.
